I had the opportunity to fish with Captain Chad and let me just say what a pleasure it was. I brought my two sons with me and we had a blast catching big redfish. Me and the girls took a trip with Vitamin Sea Charters and had a blast. Today we booked our first charter out of Galveston Bay. Being new to the area and new to saltwater fishing, Capt. Chad of Vitamin Sea Charters came highly recommend. We started our morning at first light, Capt. Chad suggested drifting some nearby reefs for trout. Within the first two hours we landed 12 trout! To say the least my wife & I are hooked! Capt. Chad took us to a few more spots and we caught 3 redfish. These fish are now my wife’s favorite tasting fish! We will definitely using Vitamin Sea in the near future. Capt. Chad took our family out today for a fun day of fishing. Capt. Chad suggested we hit the jetties and boy did we have a blast! We caught trout, redfish, and a fish called a sheep’s head, I think?? My son even caught a small shark! Capt. Chad was very polite and above all he was very helpful & patient with our family. Finally had chance to go fishing today with Vitamin Sea Charters. Our Captain was Chad and he advised us that the wind was unexpectedly high and advised that we may want to reschedule. We asked (begged) the Captain if we could take a chance and go anyway as my schedule is very tight and my kids were so excited. Capt. Chad agreed and while we didn’t catch a ton of fish because the wind was howling about 20 mph, we did catch fish!! The Captain was very safety conscious and the kids had a blast catching their first fish!!

This morning we went out on our shark fishing journey. We caught several black tip sharks at the Galveston jetties. My best friend has never even caught a shark and he ended up catching the BIGGEST ONE! Thanks Capt. Chad.

Took advantage of the “Lady Angler Special” offered by Vitamin Sea Charters. My husband has been out with Capt. Chad several times and gave me the trip for my birthday! Although we weren’t able to fish “on” my actual birthday, Capt. Chad made it a very special day. He was very patient and professional as we didn’t even have a clue what to do and he made it a great time for us. I think this will be an annual trip with the ladies.
